Entry one:
The Repulse is currently in orbital dock at the Utopia Planitia shipyards orbiting Mars. Captain Zimmerman relieved Captain Tagert as Commanding Officer Repulse prior to the beginning of the refit procedure. While all structural and systems refits have been completed at this time, the ship's ODN and main computer core structures have not been completely loaded. We are scheduled to depart Orbital Graving Dock #46-B when these upgrades have been completed and the computer and ODN are operating at full efficiency. Following the refit, Repulse will undergo three weeks of post-refit trials confined to a 15LY spherical radius from Sol. If all systems pass, she will be upgraded to Active status with Starfleet after a two-week break for crew leave and standard long-endurance mission resupply. -----
Entry two:
The Repulse has completed provisioning and resupply following her refit at Utopia Planitia. Captain Zimmerman has ordered preparations for departure from spacedock at Stardate 80507.1 for post-refit trials in the Sol System Confined Starship Test Range Area. Upon completion of her trials (lasting until on or about Stardate 80521.5) the Repulse will return to spacedock for any required corrective actions and final supply. At that time Captain Zimmerman will be given Repulse's Mission Orders, and will pass on what information he is able.
Starfleet has not yet given us our next mission orders; only the level of supply scheduled to load indicates that our next mission will be an extended one. More information will be posted when available. ----
Entry three:
Captain's log, recording. The Repulse, having left Utopia Planitia following her refit, is presently undergoing acceptance trials in the Sol System Confined Starship Test Range Area. Testing of primary through tertiary navigational and engine systems as well as testing of the ship's functional components of the LCARS computer have been completed. Tests of our defensive systems, including navigational and combat deflectors and armament are scheduled for next shipsday. Department-level testing continues, with only minor defects reported. Uh, one exception; Commander Hoffman reports that he is, quote, 'Still trying ta figure out where the hell the booze is' in his refitted Medical Section. He assures me that Medical's department is now online, and despite rough edges is fully functional.
Our new communications officer has reported aboard by way of a regular parts and supply run from Utopia Planitia. Lt. Commander Gabe Wiener will be a valuable addition to our team, as he brings expertise to the table not found anywhere else in the Federation Starfleet.
